ANOTHER WRINKLE IN RECOVERY--DIESEL FUEL RELEASE OF ABOUT 50 GALLONS AT A PORT PIPELINE

The Environmental Prorection Agency On-Scene Coordinator Chris Reiner says it was the first time crews energized the pipeline from the fuel terminal to Power Plant 1 since Typhoon Soudelor 7 weeks ago.

 

LINEMEN STILL TIRELESSLY OUT IN FORCE TO BRING THE ISLAND BACK ON THE GRID

KSPN witnessed crews using a long pole called a hot stick to hook up cut outs.  This keeps the linemen safe from being electrocuted.
