MORE THAN 2 YEARS FOR WOMAN ACCUSED OF STEALING MORE THAN 2 MILLION FROM HOSPITAL

Leyda Ada was sentenced to serve 27 months in jail.  Chief Judge Ramona Manglona ordered Ada be placed on probation for 3 years following her release.

GOVERNOR AND SENATOR REEL IN HIGHER DEAL THAN EXPECTED FOR BIG EYE TUNA

Governor Ralph Torres and Senator Arnold Palacios attended a Hawaii meeting.  Torres signed the deal, now $250,000 for a 3 year period.
