A HEARING IN FEDERAL COURT TO DECIDE WHETHER C–W PERMIT WORKERS AT THE COMMONWEALTH UTILITIES CORPORATION POWER PLANT CAN WORK EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED APPROVAL FROM U–S–C–I–S WAS STILL GOING ON AS OF NEWS TIME.

A CHART OF APPROPRIATION ALLOTMENTS AND EXPENDITURES ALSO SHOWS HIGHER EXPENDITURE OF 143.4 MILLION COMPARED WITH THE ANTICIPATED ALLOTMENT OF 134.3 FOR THE PAST FISCAL YEAR.
