Hot and hectic, as one student puts it. Some teachers have moved classes outside, other teachers are inside, but fanning students and reminding them to stay hydrated during the day. But Hopwood Middle School got power just before the school bell on the first day.
CUC STILL TRYING TO SECURE TRANSFORMERS TO HELP LIGHT UP SAIPAN
Acting Executive Director John Riegel says they are in talks with different utilities in Micronesia and the United States to discuss inventory of transformers they can sell to the Commonwealth.
AUTHORITIES CONTINUE TO SEARCH FOR A MISSING FISHERMAN IN MARPI
Search and rescue teams were activated Tuesday morning. Police have yet to identify the man. They say he is the owner of a tire shop located near the Paradise Hotel on Middle Road. Normally searches remain active for 72 hours.
