11 MILLENNIUM GATES SCHOLARS FOR THE CNMI
4 schools and 3 islands. The number of scholars here has increased from 0 last year to 11 this year. Students say this is the best news they have ever received and it will help them commit to schools they could only dream of without this financial aid.
MORE CHARGES PILED ON FOR FORMER DPS COMMISSIONER
The Attorney General's Office filed a total of 5 charges each against the 2 defendants, including sexual abuse of a minor in the 1st degree, 2 counts of conspiracy to commit sexual abuse of minor in the first degree and two counts of misconduct in public office.
SETTLEMENT FUND ADMINISTRATOR SAYS DESPITE PROGRESS, SHE STILL WANTS A WAY TO FIX PAYMENTS
Settlement Fund Administrator Joyce Tang says they are now receiving regular payments for the government into the fund. While she tells KSPN she's interested in seeing sort of legislation helping to find a solution to fixed payments on a regular basis, she yields that kind of decision to legislature members.
