THE FIRST DAY OF FIRST GRADE IS A MEMORABLE DAY...BUT FOR STUDENTS IN SAN ROQUE, IT WAS ALSO REALLY HOT.

Students at Gregorio T. Camacho School in San Roque spent the morning fanning themselves with books and sitting in a dark classroom. School administrators say they want to keep the students positive about learning, despite the heat. 

THE CHAIRMAN OF THE HOUSE CONFERENCE SUBCOMMITTEE SAYS THE JOINT COMMITTEE IS BACK TO SQUARE ONE FOR THE PASSAGE OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2016 BUDGET. 

The House and Senate remain deadlocked. September 30, 2015 is the budget deadline to prevent government shutdown. 

IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN A MONTH SINCE TYPHOON SOUDELOR SWEPT THROUGH SAIPAN, BUT ITS EFFECTS ARE STILL BEING FELT.

Chinese National, Wang Jian Hua, has been living in his car since Typhoon Soudelor destoryed his Chalan Lao Lao home. He says he cannot afford to move into a new house right now.
